Trim and Style
Trimming
Taking a couple inches off a single strand of hair isn't quite as easy as you may think. Knowing what you are doing can make the difference between looking like a raccoon chewed off your hair or a professional stylist shaped your locks. Don't worry... we'll help you to achieve the latter.
Trimming your Style Strands highlights isn't difficult, it's just a matter of knowing what to do. The best way to explain it is to cut upward using a sharp pair of scissors. When you cut up, cut into a long, narrow V and then a few more cuts up to thin out the end. This is how our hair is naturally and it will blend significantly better than if you cut a blunt line straight across.
Styling
Styling with your Style Strands highlights is just as easy as your natural hair but better, because now you have gorgeous color to enhance any style! You can absolutely use heating tools such as flat irons and curling irons, but remember to give your highlights some TLC too. Your Style Strands highlights are made from 100% human remy hair, and just like your natural hair your highlights will suffer from the overuse of heating tools and lack of conditioning. Keep them smooth and silky by using your favorite conditioning products every now and then and you will have beautiful highlights that are also long lasting!
