About Style Strands Highlights
1.What lengths do the highlights come in?All Style Strands hair extension highlights are 18” in length. This extra long length will blend seamlessly with long hair, and can be trimmed to fit shorter styles.
Because you are looking to add color to your hair with Style Strands, you do not have to pick a color based on its ability to blend with your natural hair, as you would with hair extensions. Simply browse our colors from naturals to pastels and pick whatever color suits your fancy -- there are no rules here! If you are looking for a subtle, natural look, we suggest picking a color that is 1-3 shades lighter or darker than your current hair color.
3. How do I apply them?
Style Strands highlight hair extensions are
incredibly easy to apply! We have a unique Loop n’ Lock system, that allows you
to apply the highlights in a matter of minutes. Go to www.stylestrands.com/pages/apply for easy to follow
directions.
4. Do I need special tools to apply them?
Nope, any hair clip and a pair of household
pliers will do! We have pre-applied a
threading loop and micro-ring to each highlight to make application
easier! This also means you don't need
to go out and buy an additional application kit.
5. How do I remove them?
Style Strands hair extension highlights are
quick and easy to remove!
- take your pliers and gently squeeze the
sides of the ring so it opens up
- with the ring open, slide the extension down the hair and off
- you can then save your highlight to wear again later
6. Can I remove and reapply them?
The easy Loop n' Lock application system makes
it easy to reapply your Style Strands hair extension highlights at a later
time. Simply keep your clear threading loops and use them to reapply. Re-thread the loop through the micro-bead and apply
as normal! When closing the micro-bead, do not apply too much pressure as this
can break the micro-bead or damage it for further applications!
7. How long do Style Strands last?
With proper care and treatment, your Style
Strands highlight hair extensions can last for 6-12 weeks! With wear and tear, your hair extension
highlight may need to be replaced after this time. To prolong the life of your
Style Strands hair extension highlights, we recommend limiting removal and
reapplication.
8. What is the quality of hair like? Is it
human Remy hair?
We use only top quality, 100% human remy hair
for all our Style Strands hair extension highlights.

do I pick my colors?
The in-house stylists and artists at Picasso Hair Feathers have created color
combinations that look fabulous in any hair color or style. By creating complimentary color combinations
in one pack, you can play around with your feathers and get creative yourself
by adding only a couple feathers or the whole pack. We have made rocking this hot trend fool
proof!

2. How
long are the hair feathers?
Picasso Hair Feathers are significantly longer than most to accommodate women
of different hair lengths. They are all
about 14-16" long and can be trimmed to match your hair length if needed.
3. How
do I apply them?
We have a unique Loop N’ Lock system, just like the Style Strands Highlights
that makes application a cinch! Go to www.stylestrands.com/pages/apply for easy to follow
directions.
4. Do
I need special tools to apply them?

these real feathers?
No. They are made from heat resistant
material and look similar to a hair extension with the markings of a grizzly
rooster feather. Picasso Hair Feathers is a vegan and
animal friendly company and are proud to not use any animal products or real
hair feathers. There are many advantages to wearing Picasso Hair Feathers!
7. How long do the hair feathers last?
Your feathers should last you 3-6 weeks.
Just like your natural hair, the better you treat them the better they
will look. If you are good to your
feathers and don't torture them with scorching hot heating tools of over 180
degrees, they will continue to look beautiful for months!

How
do I care for them?
Because Style Strands
are made only of top quality, 100% human remy hair, you can treat your hair
extension highlights as you would your natural hair. You can wash, cut, and
style as you wish!
2.
Can
I wash them with my hair?
Absolutely! You can
wash and condition your Style Strands hair extension highlights with your natural
hair – no need to remove and reapply every time you wash your hair! The color
will not fade, even after numerous washes!
3.
What
shampoo and conditioner can I use on them?
Almost any shampoo
and conditioner can be used with your Style Strands hair extension highlights.
However, we do not suggest shampooing with toning shampoos (i.e. Purple
Shampoo’s or Red Shampoo) as these color deposits may change or alter the color
of your highlight.
4.
Can
I swim with them or wear them to the beach?
Yes! Style Strands
hair extension highlights are safe to be worn to the beach and to the pool.
5.
Can
I dye them?
Because Style Strands
hair extension highlights are made from 100% human remy hair, you can dye them. However, be sure not to
have any dye touch the micro-bead as it will cause damage to the bead and
affect the life of your highlight! Dyeing hair extensions can be tricky,
however, so we would leave this one to the pro’s, or simply try another shade
in our fabulous collection of colors!
6.
Can
I bleach them?
It is not recommended
to apply bleach to your Style Strands hair extension highlights. We have
ensured every hair extension highlight is enriched with bold, beautiful tones
that will not fade. Bleaching will likely not have the desired effect, and you
could end up ruining your lovely Style Strands! We would suggest checking out
our gorgeous shades of blonde here.
7.
How
can I ensure my highlights last a long time?
To ensure your Style
Strands hair extension highlights have a lengthy lifespan, limit the removal
and reapplication as much as possible. Closing and reopening the micro-bead
repeatedly can eventually cause the bead to break down, making it nearly
impossible to re-thread the loop and reapply.
Additionally, ensure you always rinse shampoo & conditioner out completely, as left over shampoo,
conditioner and oil can affect the lifespan of your highlight!

I attach them to clip-in extensions?
Absolutely, you can
thread them through your clip-in hair extensions just as you would your natural
hair!
2.
Can
I cut my Style Strands highlights?
Yes! We make all our
Style Strands hair extension highlights 18” in length. If your hair is shorter,
you can trim you Style Strands to match the length of your natural hair.
3.
Can
I use hot styling tools on them?
Yes! It is 100% safe
to use any of your hot styling tools on your Style Strands hair extension
highlights

What
hair products can I use?
All hair products are
safe to use on your Style Strands hair extension highlights! If you tend to use
a lot of product on a daily basis, it is suggested you use a clarifying shampoo
on your hair once every 3-5 washes. This will remove any build up in your hair
and keep your natural hair, and Style Strands hair extension highlights, shiny,
silky, and smooth!
Caring For Your Cruelty-Free Hair Feathers
1. How do I care for them?
Picasso Hair Feathers are made from a high quality, animal-free synthetic material. You can wash and style your hair feathers along with your natural hair, but remember to not use hot styling tools set at over 180 degrees. Once you have applied your hair feather, we recommend styling it with your natural hair, and not separately. This will prevent excessive stress on the single strand, and help you achieve seamless style with your hair.
2. Can I wash them with my hair?
You can wash your feathers with your natural hair. You do not have to take out
your feathers to wash your hair. Leave them in, wash and then style with your
natural hair.
3. What shampoo and conditioner can I use on
them?
All shampoos and conditioners are safe to use
on your hair feathers.
4. Can I swim with them or wear them to the beach?
Absolutely! These are safe to wear in the
pool and at the beach.
5. Can I dye them?
No. Picasso Hair Feathers are made of synthetic materials in
order to create that gorgeous feathered style, and they cannot be dyed.
6. Can I bleach them?
No. We do not recommend bleaching your hair feathers, as this would damage the
feather extension and alter the feathered appearance!
7. How can I ensure my feathers last a long time?
To ensure your feathers are long lasting, we suggest limiting the removal and
reapplication as much as possible. This will keep the micro-bead strong and
sturdy! We also suggest limiting the use of heat styling tools on your hair
feather.

1. Can I attach them to clip-In hair extensions?
Absolutely! You can apply your feathers to
your clip-in hair extensions just as you would with your natural hair.
2. Can I cut my hair feathers?
Yes! Picasso Hair Feathers are extra long in
length and can be trimmed to match your current length!
3. Can I use hot styling tools on them?
Absolutely! You can curl or straighten
your feathers as you like. Just make
sure that the temperature of your heating tool is set to about 100-180 degrees.
4. What hair products

How
do I purchase something from Style Strands online?
Step 1: Add to Cart
Select the
items you wish to purchase and click “Add to Cart”
Step 2: Checkout
After you are finished picking the Style Strands products you want, you can
click on the "checkout" button on the top right corner. Look through
your shopping cart to make sure you have all the items you wanted, and there
aren't any items you didn’t wish to purcahse. You can go back and add
more items, or delete items if you wish. If everything is great, then
click "checkout".
Step 3: Shipping Information
Here you will fill in all the personal information we will need in order to
fulfill your order and send you your Style Strands products.
Step 4: Payment Information
Here you will fill in your payment information. You can either enter a
credit card or use your PayPal account, whichever you prefer. At the top
of this page you will see a place to enter a Coupon Code. If you have
one, please enter it here and your new total will be calculated. Then you
will select your shipping option. Click the arrow to see a drop down list of
all the shipping options available to you.
Step 5: Order Confirmation
After you have completed your order you will receive an email us,
confirming your order and shipping information. We will then begin to
process your order and try our best to send it out to you the very same day!
2. What
forms of payment do you accept?
We
accept credit card (Mastercard or Visa) as well as PayPal. You are given an option to either enter your
credit card information, or to continue to pay with PayPal. With PayPal you are able to pay using your bank card if you have attached your bank account to your PayPal account. If you chose PayPal and to use your bank account, the funds would be withdrawn from your account.
3. Why
won’t my payment go through?
Make sure that all the information you submitted (name, address, credit
card number, etc.) matches exactly to what is on your credit card. If any of
the information is different, your payment will not go through. You can also
contact your credit card company to see why your card it not working and they
may be able to help you further. If you do experience trouble, don't hesitate to contact us and we will assist you in determining the issue.

We are happy to offer Free Worldwide Shipping. Free Shipping is sent via Standard Mail Canada Post. We also offer Express shipping to the US and Canada for $20 and $15 respectively. Overnight Shipping is available on Canadian orders for a cost of $35.
3. How long does shipping usually take?
We will begin processing your order as soon
as you order it online and we send it out the same day, or within 1 business
day. Standard shipping can take 1- 3 weeks. If you are in a hurry,
express shipping is available at an extra cost for North American orders.
